Dennis Smith
He was killed in action at Salonika on 30th September 1916
buried in plot III.G.5 at the Struma War Cemetery in Greece.

Born about 1891 in Stroud
Brother of Sidnal Smith
Wife Sarah Loveridge (born about 1895) they married 1916
they had three boys born about 1914, 1915 and 1916.
He was sent off to the Balkan Front after they married he never returned

Dennis enlisted at Bristol for WWI as Private 26985,
2nd Battalion, Gloucestershire Regiment :The Glorious Glosters
