You say your mum was born in Levenshulme, Manchester. Where was your grandfather Boswell born?
I was born and raised in the Manchester area and know the area well.
Levenshulme is situated on the A6 only a couple of miles up the same road from Heaton Norris, which is in Stockport. Where situated are the remains of Christ Church. See here...http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christ_Church,_Heaton_Norris
It's at this church during the late 1800's where most of my family were baptised.
The close proximity is too close to be a coincidence, perhaps?

hya DT ,sorry not been on line for a bit had lot's going on ;lately like ya do ...how's you an ya family keeping well i hope ....my friend who was to help me sort mum's birth certificate out has moved to scotland so i didn't get to sort it ...but i won't give up ....i was baptised christ the church but only know it was up north not sure where ...mum's family from stockport...levenhulme .potteries ...also have fam in wales,when i too lived in a wagon when i contacted manchester reg place they said mum was not registered an said that they had found that some who traveled didn't have to reg ,as didn't stay in one place for long ,but the fam would on travel to wales /stoke-on-trent/an mum's home town ofcors ....an that maybe mum was reg when she was 9yr old when become evacuee an sent to stoke-on-trent with her nanna shaw ....so i am waiting on syoke -on-trent to get bk which is taking for ever too ....but patients aye lol ...that's all i need for my grand parents name's .
