We have had to fit in with her schedule As we are in the full show season she has kindly cancelled, a fantastic show day to help us all learn what to look for and understand the English show rules and requirements.Stallion fun drive, serious fun driving our stallions along pretty English country lanes everyone will get a chance to take the reins, and if you have never driven no worries someone will be there to help you along. No better time than this to stop and a wonderful old English pub and enjoy a bit of lunch. After lunch we will spend the afternoon seeing all the herds, 1500 home bred horses grazing on the spectacular, hillside summer paddocks. These horses are our own breeding built up from many generations of careful breeding practices, we do not buy in horses. We do hope you can find the time to visit us and join our family for this amazing family history event, it is not a glitz, glamour or hard sales event, just a chance to educate and learn as much as we can about the breed to preserve it for the future generations. Our event has been scheduled for the weekend before Appleby, so anyone wishing to carry onto the famous fair, will have plenty of time, to make the most out of their trip to the UKWhen we announced our event we were not aware that another farm day was scheduled at Tom Prices farm, for this year. Most of you have noted ours starts a day before Toms, so thankfully we have not completely over lapped, we are only about one and a half hours away from Toms, so am sure that if you wish to go to both and make the most out of your UK trip, then why not pop into us for the day on the 29th then pop down to Toms the day after.Obviously the show judge talk many of you would like to hear, we have had to fit in with her busy schedule, and also yours, so have altered our schedule to be able to offer this invaluable experience 9am on 30th, giving every one the chance to listen in andhear what is expected here in the English showing World, thus leaving plenty of time if some wish to head off to Toms straight after. We expect, the talk to take about 2 hours so should be finished by 11amWe are trying to make sure everyone gains the most out of their UK gypsy horse experience, so trying hard to fit in around plans for your unique trip.Looking forward to seeing you all for a weekend of fun, Learning and education to make sure the history of the breed moves forward for future generations to enjoy, as we have all done and our fore bearersKind regardsStevie Downhttp://dixiedownmeadows.webs.com/ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
