Bland Family
Matthew Bland b 1818 Downton Wiltshire - died 1854, Wiltshire
married
Naomi Jeff b 1804 Wiltshire -died 1896 Christchurch Dorset
They had a son :
Walter Jeff b 1844 Lymnigton Hampshire married Eliza Ayres b 1840 Hampshire
When she died in 1932 she was registered as Bland being her Husband's father's surname
Baptism of a daughter:
Caroline Bland 10th Feb 1851 Ibberton Dorset
I have a scan of the parish register for this baptism, I also have the death certificate
for Caroline and she died on the 6th February 1851 at Milton Abbas
Did they Baptise a dead child? or is it an error and the entry should have been in the register of burials? (John)
I just rechecked where I found it on Familysearch.org John and its A Bapt/Christening
So I do not know the answer ..?
