By 1901 Mark Berry had married and was also recorded as being a Hardware Hawker and living at S Peters Lane Canterbury, his spouse was Mary Ann Giles daughter of Robert Giles ( Jiles ) and Patience Collins, Licensed Hawkers and living according to the 1881 Census, " Nepicar a roadside Green in a caravan, Wrotham Kent" her Grandparents were James Giles and Mary Ann Ripley also from Kent ? but I have not researched them fully yet In the 1851 Census Patience Collins is living in a cart with her parents Richard and Olive Collins her father too is listed as a Licensed Hawker, The other family listed as being camped there too is Burch

Mark And Mary Ann Berry also known as Ann, had 11 Children ? Some time between 1901 and 1931 they made the Journey to Victoria Australia, Mark is listed on the 1931 Victoria Electrol Rolls as a Hawker, They settled in the suburb of North Melbourne, Mark died in 1940 and Mary Ann died in 1943
